Each time a year closes to an end, I found myself in a dilemma. Should I write my annual “top 10 metal albums” for this year or no? What format should I chose. Just post a list of albums, or write some short, or not so short reviews? Shall I write in English or Serbian. Being neither native English speaker, nor professional journalist, makes a highly favorable choice of Serbian language and simple list style. I was always fascinated by the good concept albums, which manage to tell the story in a extraordinary fashion. So I decided to make a list of best concetual metal albums up to date. I decided to concentrate on truly conceptual albums, since loosening the criteria too much would leave me with having bunch of fantastic albums, which would simply be too much to put on the list. Yes, it would probably be a lot easier to make a huge list, but I wanted to concentrate on a truly top concept-related albums. So since they do not strictly tell about…

Još jedna godina, i opet je vreme da sa vama podelim svoje utiske. Kažem svoje utiske, tako da ako vam se neki od albuma ne sviđa, to je vaš problem a ne moj :P Dosta dobrih albuma, dosta poznatih bendova koji su izdali dobre, ali ne i odlične albume. Dosta prijatnih iznenađenja, i par neprijatnih. Mislim da što se kvaliteta tiče, da je ovo najbolja godina od 2008, barem ja imam takav neki utisak. Nema preteranih opisa albuma, poenta je ionako u slušanju, a ne u čitanju. I sasvim sam siguran da sam nešto zaboravio, nešto propustio, kao i uvek.…

Nekome ce se mozda uciniti prepotentnim shto ja pishem listu 10 najboljih albuma 2007, nije da sam ja neki bitan faktor, ali gledajte na to samo kao na moje misljenje, u krajnjoj liniji dosta toga zavisi od licnog ukusa. Sve u svemu 2007 godina je po meni bila jedna od najboljih godina shto se tice metala. Mozda je 90tih bilo albuma koji su ostavili dublji trag, prodali se u vishe primeraka, mozda je 80tih metal bio mainstream, mozda su mnogi od ovih bendova svoje najbolje albume izdali krajem 20 ili pocetkom 21 veka… Ali mislim da u poslednjih par godina…

Doshlo je vreme za josh jedan godisnji izbor top 10 albuma. Imam mozda i previse energije i inspiracije, pa sam reshio da je vreme da napisem i svoj godishnji blog. Iako je ostalo josh mesec dana do kraja 2008, mislim da je sve shto je bitno i vredno paznje za ovu godinu vec prisutno i preslushano. Nekako imam utisak da je ove godine bilo malo manje dobrih ostvarenja nego proshle, ali opet dovoljno kvalitetnih izdanja da izbor bude jako zanimljiv. Kako je zanrovski moj ukus prilicno raznolik, u izboru se nashlo dosta raznih i zanrovski veoma drugacijih bendova, nekih novih…
