"People here are about as smart as a sack of potatoes" Same here broha, they're everywhere. I feel like I'm torn between two polar opposites of people. Either completely ignorant fools who are devoid of any kind of depth or intellect, and then the elitist self-righteous pricks who think they are a pool of infinite knowledge and wisdom. It gets old. But don't get me wrong, I have some homies who would have my back and they are some pretty rad people to chill with but 1. they are either in a different state or 2. We've been friends for a long time, but they're not into metal. Problems, man, I have them. haha..

I think you may benefit from a summer during our fishing season. haha. I'm a commercial fishermen during the summer months and we stay in rickety cabins without electricity or indoor plumbing along the muddy coast for about 6 weeks in a small village that turns into a ghost town during the winter. It's a little extreme for some people to grasp that our lifestyle up here is still somewhat primitive..i.e. eating moose and caribou meat, skin sewing our own clothes, living off of the land..etc. I get you on that whole having disdain for the population thing. I shy away from most social gatherings because of my dislike for people. I like a lot of people and I can get along with them on a shallow level but it never goes farther than that for the most part. But hey, at least you can DRIVE to shows! :) There are no roads in or out of my town. We have to fly everywhere as a means of transportation. I would be honored to be an member of your Wu Tang Clan..haha. That sounds like my kind of people

It is pretty awesome for the most part. I love my frostbitten lands of tundra, forests and mountains. I try to take advantage of all the free resources and enjoy the outdoors, but there's just the other aspect of wanting to be in the city and being able to attend shows that makes it lose it's charm sometimes. I got a taste of Seattle for a year and half and met a lot of cool people at shows, so now I know what I'm missing. Those sound like some pretty solid plans either way :). I am jelly. I will most likely just stay right where I am today. I'm currently on an excursion to deal with some family issues and have been staying in a hotel for the past couple of days. If the roads aren't terribly icy, I may get out to go buy a sandwich (I know, living the dream).
