My quasi-new-years-resolution is to update my iPod thru audioscrobbler at least twice a week. I figured out how to work it all out a few months ago, but I keep forgetting to do it right. So hopefully the next 10K won't take a year.

Me and Sarah Jane bought our 2nd and 3rd copies of Abacab from a Man On the Corner who owned the "Keep It Dark" record shop. We thought the different covers would have different music. Boy, did I feel like a Dodo when I realized that it was just Another Record. Imagine how I must've looked…this crazed Lurker in the record shop! Well, iTunes' Smart Shuffle is pretty freakin' awesome. I get to decide just how random it should be, with a slider… I told it to stick to an artist once it picked them randomly. So now there will be periods where a mood just keeps going for 10 mins or more… sweet. And soon it'll be playing a bunch of music videos for me. I've dreamed of having my own customized commercial-free MTV since… since about 1990, when they went crappy and started playing all those non-music shows.

Okay, so this is my first Journal entry ever, since I've never had a place online to write in, before now. (That previous post was just a test, doesn't count.) I've had a paper book journal I used to keep when I was about 6 years old… talk about obsolete. (They say that every 5 years all your values will change or become irrelevant…)
