1. Scott Walker - Bish Bosch

Oh Walker... You never disappoint me. Your records are so worthy of the wait (even though it just took you six years this time). This one is a little lighter than The Drift, but more random and "funny". Can't wait for it to grow on me more, even though it's already one of my favorite things to listen to at the moment. Matter of fact is that I happen to be listening to it right now. (:
2. Laura Sheeran - What The World Knows

She's just growing and growing on me. I could've never imagined what an impact she would have on me, first in Fovea Hex and later her solo project. She has rised in my charts so incredibly much in such a short period of time. This record have such class tunes on it.
3. Storm Corrosion - Storm Corrosion

When Wilson and Åkerfeldt teams up and avoid to do some predictable progressive metal-thing it can't be bad right? I love the mix and sound of this record. It's also very dynamic and nicely mastered.
4. Katie Kim - Cover&Flood

This got a nice alternative-folk-something-lo-fi-thingy going on. The digital download sounds great, but I'm eagerly waiting for my vinyl at the moment.
5. Carla Kihlstedt & Matthias Bossi - Rabbit Rabbit Radio - Vol. 1

Not really an album 'cus the songs got released once a month. It still forms some sort of whole that works in my opinion. Merci Carla & Matthias. Me like.
6. Cloudkicker - Fade

It's Cloudkicker. You know Cloudkicker! If not... you're missing out!!
7. Opus Symbiosis - Nature's Choir

One of my favorites prog bands just released their best album this far. Why aren't you listening to it already?
8. Black Walls - Acedia

Best acoustic-singer-songwriter-album from this year that you didn't hear? Yes. Yes, that's how it is.
9. Clara Engel - The Lovebird's Throat

Would've probably been in the top three if it was a full length album with the same strength. She seems to have found her own style and I absolutely love it! Her voice is just... just <3!
10. Stilla - Hela havet stormar

It's "just" an EP with four tracks but god damn it's a strong EP with just four tracks. Listen to it. You really deserve to hear this!
...and the ones I really really would've wanted on the list:
Nanu Nanu - Arena EP
If this was a list of my top 10 bands I found this year this duo would be #1. I like this EP, I really do. An album of the same strenth would've given them a place in the top 10.
Niamh de Barra - Below The Sea
I liked her previous EP Cusp a little bit more and haven't heard her newest full length yet. Need to check that one out. After that I might have to reconsider my top 10... anyway, I like the special sound of this. It feels very... special.
Time Columns - Mana
It's good. Really good and the vinyl is very very nice! It's just that the other releases in my top 10 are too strong in my book for this one to make it.
The Mars Volta - Noctourniquet
Except for a couple of filler tunes and a very horrible loudness-master it's quite enjoyable (seriously, if one band should release a box set with properly mastered records it's this band..). I'm still not sure if I'm impressed or a bit disappointed with Noctourniquet though.. It got moments of both... I maybe need more time with it? I like that they explore new directions though. I don't like when bands play it safe for too long; plus for that.
