  • How I discovered my top 20 artists

    1. Taylor Swift - around March 2009 I think, when Love Story was really big over here.
    2. 소녀시대 - I heard Gee in May 2011 then found it again in July and downloaded the mini album.
    3. Avril Lavigne - when Complicated and Sk8er Boi were really big in 2002.
    4. Paramore - September 2009 when brand new eyes was released.
    5. Britney Spears - not sure of the year but through ...Baby One More Time and then the rest of her hits throughout the years.
    6. 浜崎あゆみ - I heard glitter in like 2009/10 but forgot about it. I then discovered Ayu again in September 2011 and downloaded GUILTY because it had glitter on it.
    7. Evanescence - through Bring Me To Life, probably in 2010?
    8. 2NE1 - when I first discovered SNSD & K-Pop, the video for HATE YOU had just been released so I watched it and I loved the song.
    9. Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl in 2008.
    10. Never Shout Never - I found the video for bigcitydreams, probably around 2010, and fell in love.
    11. Lady Gaga - when Just Dance was big - I think it was early 2009?
    12. LIGHTS - I just stumbled across Saviour and downloaded The Listening in July 2011 I think.
    13. He Is We - Someone recommended I listened to I Wouldn't Mind and I loved it, probably between May and July 2011.
    14. Bring Me The Horizon - I heard Diamonds Aren't Forever in like early 2010 and didn't really like it but then It Never Ends came out in August and I loved it.
    15. f(x) - just downloaded Pinocchio when I discovered K-Pop - September 2011.
    16. After School - just downloaded VIRGIN when I discovered K-Pop - September 2011.
    17. AKB48 - I'd heard of them because of how big they are but I listened to Flying Get in September 2011.
    18. Kara - when they released STEP in September 2011.
    19. 티아라 - I heard Roly-Poly in September 2011.
    20. Sleeping With Sirens - I saw If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn on Kerrang! TV and I really liked it. Not sure when but probably late 2010/early 2011.

    2011 - the year I became a SONE, fell in love with more pop music than ever before and the year I pushed male vocalists aside (save for a small few).
    I only started using last.fm in July-ish, so these charts only really represent 5/6 months of listening.
    So because I'm too lazy to edit pictures AND STUFF I'll just do it in text. Number in the square brackets is the difference from its position in my overall charts.

    1. Taylor Swift - NO FLAWS OVER HERE (but she has so many unreleased songs and some of them are just begging to be released.)
    2. Avril Lavigne - She has this quite annoying ~bad bitch~ image that I just wish she'd grow out of. I still love her though.
    3. Paramore - Hayley's too much of the centre of attention.
    4. 소녀시대 - NO FLAWS OVER HERE
    5. Britney Spears - NO FLAWS OVER HERE
    6. Evanescence - The members that aren't Amy are boring.
    7. 2NE1 - CL seems really fake sometimes.
    8. Never Shout Never - scene kid crap for kids who want to be indie.

    10. Lady Gaga - it's not bad about HER, but I hate how her die-hard fans worship her like she's the next coming of Jesus.
