I listened and it's great. I really like the whole dark boom bap and cloudy feel. You're spitting some really conscious, mentally aware lyrics and I appreciate the social concepts you implemented. You need to get recognized man forreal. Imma share this amongst my peers.

Great charts maybe I find some new things for me. I see you don't like 70's funk/soul music so much :(

Oh wow, his solo stuff is easily in my top ten of all time, largely because I try to listen to lotsa music but find R&B and its variants to be what I enjoy the most, especially modern stuff that's inspired by 60's/70's soul and what have you. And, with his 2012 album Landing on a Hundred, he's on the record for saying that he wants it to do a lot of what Stevie's Innervisions did. And while I love both of those albums in different ways, the whole subconsciously preachy, black American life-affirming thing carries through for both artists in a way that's really satisfying. And Headphone Masterpiece is, in my opinion, a more raw, younger version of the same struggle to be heard and understood, which you might like a lot, too (that's the album that the original version of "The Seed" is on). Congrats about your new project! Will it be up on your Tumblr?

Yeah, Cat Rider is pretty amazing, too! & I agree, overall, I'm always in love with their stuff. Well, I first started listening to him after a song he did w/ Cody ChesnuTT (Gunpowder on the Letter) and saw that he'd done a remix to "Please Come Home" with Alice Smith, and I ended up really enjoying that whole mixtape. And "Things Are Changing" is like, my favorite from that album by far. :) Oh, you make music? That's awesome. What kinds of stuff do you do?

Hey, really love your library as well! Aah, I'm kind of in love with most of it! I really don't see it for Mirrors, but Pretty Girls, Nabuma Rubberband, and Pink Cloud are pretty much my faves in a long time. You like Gary Clark Jr., too? I just started getting into him thanks to some stuff he did with two of my faves, but I think he's pretty great.

Trueee 90s new jack and old school rap and RnB. Can't beat it. I mean I do listen to lots of newer music it's just not like the "newest" if you know what I mean lol. I'm always a few months or years late. Plex from Jers? I'm in Newark. Maybe one day we'll catch a show

Hmmmm, this year i'd have to say Fear of Men's Loom which i've been abusing on repeat. Jesse Boykin III's Love Apparatus, some of Cupid Deluxe. I don't really keep up with new releases though. Even though two of those albums just came out lol. How about you?

I'm not sure how familiar you are with these songs but I think you will enjoy whether or not you know 'em: Silver Swans - Part of Me Still Wants You , Hiatus Kaiyote - Mobius Streak , Gil-Scott Heron - Save the Children

Thanks ! I checked them out . Rosie Lowe just doesn't strike an interest to me for some reason . But Banks I was already vaguely familiar with the name , but I like Snakehips remix of one of her songs and a few others. I think she's about to get some heavy rotation from me... Lol

I like The Weeknd, Kid Cudi, Cee-Lo Green, Frank Ocean, Miguel, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Janelle Monae, Jurassic 5, Blackalicious, etc. I really don't like Eminem or Lil Wayne.

Nice, eclectic mix. I'm picky when it comes to hip-hop, but I bet I could discover some great new artists through you. Thanks for the add.
