1 word. fantasmagorical. Perhaps a bit of an overstatement, but this album really is great. Basically, I bought it because I loved the singles (and it was £6 in Woolworths), and I wasn't disappointed by the rest of the album whatsoever. Actually, that's an understatement. Although every song is written about a girl so that's not a great deal of variation but tracks such as School Uniforms and Party in a Forest (Where's Laura?) are just awesome.

I know it might seem as though I am biased because Ash are my favourite band, but, this album is just amazing.

Seriously, I don't know. It's a good album, no doubting that, but good just isn't enough for a band whose last 2 albums have been 2 of my favourite albums (ever). Maybe I haven't listened to it enough yet, but at the moment, it lacks stand-out tracks like Streetcar or Juneau.

It'll probably grow on me in time, but for now I think I'll have to give it a 7/10

Just a quick shout out in response to the news that Larrikin Love have split.

Despite only having one studio album, this band rapidly became one of my favourite bands of 2006/07 after a friend told me about them and I then heard, I think, Happy As Annie. I thought it was fantastic, and promptly borrowed their album.

The Enter Shikari album. 3 Words. Fucking wicked mate.

It's an advert for the purchasing of albums instead of just singles, as the inbetween tracks make the whole album flow really well. Not only is the style itself original, but I think that all the songs separate each other really well, with the betweens linking them up to create one whole fluent album. Finally having the "proper" versions of Anything Can Happen and SYNAW is brilliant, although I actually think I prefer the demo version ofAnything Can Happen
