I really wonder why me, the top 10 freak, never bothered writing one of these before. Maybe 'cause I never really listened to a lot of 'new' music, maybe because I was lazy. Probably both.
Anyway, since I somehow managed to get my hands on no less than 35 albums released in 2009, I thought I could give it a try. Even though I'm still lazy, heh.

Well, this started off as an easy idea: look at my albums, and decide which one was the best for every year since my year of birth (1987). I guess it kinda took off because when I'm writing about music I can't seem to quit.

I probably should've split this up in multiple journals, but since I was working in Word I didn't get to that. Ah well. A cookie for everyone who manages to read it all. Two cookies for everyone who suggests an album to me.

Once again, the title says it all. A quick warning before we get started: don't expect a bunch of singer-songerwriters in here. Sure, they tend to have an awesome vocal range, but a cripsy clean voice doesn't mean it's a good voice. Anyway, onto the list:

I saw this in another journal somewhere and I won't hesitate to steal ideas. Basically, this is my top 50…redone. I checked how many songs of each artist I had on my PC. Then I divided the total number of tracks played by the number of songs on my pc. I think this Top 50 represents my musical taste a lot better then the 'normal one'.
