As an old converted mill, Islington Mill offers intimacy, excitement and maximum vibes & atmosphere. With a capacity of 275, we have been recently described by the Independent as the most 'consistently interesting and forward thinking' venue in Greater Manchester.

Growing from an informal art and party space in 2005 we have staged and hosted an unbelievable array of events and since our refurbishment in October 2010 we have improved the space tenfold and now boast one of the best soundsystems in Manchester courtesy of a custom built turbosound-powered soundsystem handmade by Herbal Sessions. We are also home to the annual Sounds From the Other City Festival and over 50 artist studios and a B&B.

WHERE WE ARE
Situated just on the border where Salford meets Manchester, we are a 10 minute walk from Manchester City Centre. Just off the cultural hub of Chapel Street. Just look for our chimney! You can also get a free bus to come and see us by stepping onto the number 3. Being hidden from the crowds makes Islington Mill the special place that it is.
