I've always loved this song(GrooveShark) and was surprised to find it seems that its not transcribed on the Web. So, here's my first try at the words …
Wonderful World
Jah Wobble's Invaders of the Heart
People are sayin', all the whole world over,
Look out for joy, they fill the pain.
So, ??? ??? ??? Pray for rain and dig for water,
and then some die, in senseless slaughter.
Y'gotta have drums, to take the daemons away.
You gotta have art, without delay.
I know these're platitudes, but gotta adopt an attitude.
You know full well, its a pleasant thing to do.
Y'gotta have trust, to take the daemons away.
You gotta have love, without delay.
I know these're platitudes, but gotta adopt an attitude.
You know full well, you gotta have some gratitude.
Oh, I know nothing, but while I'm still breathing,
I'll go on thinkin', oh, its a wonderful world.
Some take a Niagara of whiskey.
Some, fire guns and scream.
Oh, evil's a lack of communication, within an individual or a warring nation.
Our love is integration.
Y'gotta have trust, to take the daemons away.
You gotta have love, without delay.
I know these're platitudes, but I gotta adopt an attitude.
You know full well, you gotta have some gratitude
Oh, I know nothing, but while I'm still breathing.
I'll go on thinkin', oh, its a wonderful world.
Guitar takes melody.
Y'gotta have trust, to take the daemons away
You gotta have love, without delay.
I know these're platitudes, but I gotta adopt an attitude
You know full well, you gotta have some gratitude.
Scat ad-lib.
Wonderful World
As you can see, I'm having trouble with a few words in the third line. Any help with these's most welcome. In fact, critique and different interpretations, of all kinds, is most welcome. - Ian
