So today I'm finally starting something I've wanted to do for a while: Music Mondays (MuMo…get it?). I wanted to have a day where I can just bitch/rave/rant about the music stuff I've been following of late, yet every week Monday goes by and I forget to do it. Today, I actually forgot it was Monday and was going to post anyway, but I looked at the calendar and saw the fortuitous date.

It's after 1AM, and I don't know what to do with myself.

I'm still reeling from my experience on the Ships & Dip Cruise. For the past 2 weeks, I've spent my nights uploading obscene amounts of pictures and videos onto the internet. Now that every thing's up, I'm feeling a little lost.

So I decided to do what any self-respecting, completely obsessive fan would do to kill time:

• The return of multi-artist stations to the Last.fm player. I don't even understand why this was taken away in the latest upgrade. It's a pain in the a** to have to do it in the internet browser, only to have the station open in the player anyway. I'm in the process of going through a bunch of unmarked CDs I've had sitting on my dress for, oh, a couple of years now. Most of them are blank or broken or botched burns, but there was at least one diamond in the rough.

This past Tuesday marked the release of Ganging Up on the Sun, the fifth studio release from my 4th favourite band in the world, Guster, who I'll be road-tripping to see next month when they stop in Birmingham, Alabama on their summer tour with co-headliner Ray Lamontagne. Should be a good show.

Tonight was my first time listening to the album. Here are my thoughts on it, as they came to me.

Figure I'd start simple. A lot of alphabet surveys have been going around here. I decided to go ahead and jump on the bandwagon.

I ended up being able to not repeat any artists, and come out with a list that's actually a pretty accurate reflection of my listening habits. Some of my favourite songs are on there.
