    yeah I actually already saw them this past Monday in Boston and it was absolutely unreal, still can't believe it happened. picked up the album too, it was funny, everyone was so confused about the whole thing.

    - so i tryed "Septembre.." and first of all i like these cover artworks (u know -these mystical hooded long nose creatures are pretty great - thats just why i played Zeno Clash once..) But to their music: well it's some slower progressive metal mixed with a few interesting influences. I definitely liked the calm parts more and think they dont need a double bass drum.. it annoyed me a bit in the first half because it gave a steady beat to the songs which they dont need (same with some use of chorus). So i prefered the quiet and slow maybe more shoegaze parts in the middle (around Sur Les Quias) even when it's not realy shoegaze what they do but anyway it's a good record between the genres and for me they should leave this metal thing for going further on the prog rock and shoegaze way. I found no favourite song for myself but in contrast to the iLikeTrains one i will listen to this album more than once.

    - okey good i see u understood the mood of the last shout.. i just don't like my time wasted (what means my summing up (not the album)). And i know answers sometimes need a while.. but we don't live in the age of writing letters and stagecoachs.     I loved Melancholia indeed, Dancer in the dark was really good too! Have you seen The Tree of life last year? Another misunderstood one in my opinion, I added both to my collection a couple of weeks ago!

    - well Mr. thanks for the tip, i checked out "I Like Trains" now. (here is my short first impression review). I was never realy interested in a indie band with such pointless name reminding me of modern youtube/internet humor.. and a debut in just 2007.. Defnitely no facts for getting my attention. But u forced me and i was a little excited, primarily because of the (good) cover (cause iLikeTrees). So, all in all it's a pretty average record with not one song worth keeping in mind on it. (We Go Hunting and Come Over were alright and if u want the "highlights"). Like their name in general they obviously have a problem with naming things. Their tracks have quite ordinary titles.. i mean stuff like "death is the end" just suck (in these modern genres). Furthermore i'm absolutely bored of this typical brittish baritone (voice). Somewhere between David Tibet and all these Indie singers lilke from THE editors). So in this case he tightens just the impression of a mediocre album/band..

    Hmm, maybe Bark Psychosis? Hex is an excellent early post-rock album, really mellow. I'll take any recommendation if you have any :)
