i've seen Boris twice, first time during their 2011 triple album launch, second time a year later when they opened with Huge and closed with Flood. i will see them again in about 10 days time. its nice to see Tim Hecker so high up in your charts, i had the pleasure of seeing him on Monday, he was quite the treat. looks like you'll have a nice month of May, especially with this Haino / Ambarchi / Plotkin thing. i was curious about this image as well, and a quick google search revealed it to be Miyamoto Konatsu from something called Tari Tari.

How nice it is to be amongst the fresh, with the minted scowl of a torn pile, corn-eyed mantle brandishing the head of wolves, a proper pigment for the crease-mouthed tyrant balloon. Upwardly, the swig of vessel-mounting hags fills the broth of a king, sickly to the brim of a cauldron bestowed without parchment but verbally given to twisted squatters, doused with flea-ridden tongue. The equestrian ceiling of a sound byte ripe to form, with needles bearing jewelry of clairvoyant tress hung for the gallant oval stye, does camp under the lash of sullen ships, an armada of cataracts fumbling as a bird from his delinquent entry. Birthed of the phallic, jazz-clipped aerodyne, the exhibitionist squirms, skin flaking in the parallel of ultra-violet glaze, a subsequent retirement of dew-handed cretins once sold on canopy dreams.

BTW I've gotta check out that Bardo Pond show coming up. I saw them open for Sonic Youth in like 2005, before I had any idea who they are. It's been too long – I remember them being great live.

I'm pretty sure Take the Red Pill was some tracker from back in the day. I think my friend called it "the rabbit site" and that's just about all I remember.

Yeah they are on my list. Maybe I'll do them next. That was some of the music I wanted to nab from you. Right now Metaphorical Music has me trapped.

caught tom in 2008 when he came through st. louis with glitter and doom. an unforgettable experience slightly marred by the fact that he was hard to hear. way down in a hole indeed.

Just saw your message – I don't come on here often, but I always keep a scrobbler running somewhere. Awesome music taste yourself – it's cool to see another Temple person knows about some good stuff. Also, I see you and I both discover and acquire our music from the same place...

Male INFPs are pretty rare. INTPs are rare too right?

I only listened to it once but I liked it. First impression is that it isn't as good as the last album but I think I just need to listen to it more. It is pretty different. Not acoustic, more rock-y and less folk-y, and more upbeat too.

I am not quite sure if there is the best way, but I would recommend "Spiritual Unity" or "Vibrations". Then you can move on to his live mastepieces like "Live In Greenwich Village: The Complete Impulse Recordings" and "Slug's Saloon" or if you want something different, give a try "Swing Low Sweet Spiritual" (his take on jazz standards).
