    I label artist like Kana Nishino as glamour Pop/R&B. She has that sappy sorta R&B style that seems to be popular where you stay lol. Other artists that go under this list are Lily, Sally Miura and a bunch of other no names lol

    Wait...you're Japanese...wouldn't it make more since that your friends listen to J-Pop?? lol Um so how much influence does American Urban music have on Japanese urban music now? Like when trends over here are popular IE Auto-tune. Do those trends reach Japan? And how do you feel about Dubstep creeping it's way into J-Pop?

    I see. So for the rappers that started out more underground/Street but went pop, do they still have respect? I mean Zeebra has done songs with May J. Namie Amuro and even Tetsuya Komuro. But he still keeps up with his undergrounds peers like Hannya. Also you said that Japanese rappers are more self reliant. But there seems to still be some sort of connection between some of them. Like even though Hannya is an underground artist he still works with street rappers like AK-69. But he is more listened to by the L-Vokal, Simi lab crowed.

    Hum that clears up allot. But speaking of Seamo, I was wondering how well received rappers like him are. Like I know japan has a "street" scene but artist like Seamo/Home Made Kazoku etc etc don't really appeal to underground Hip Hop listeners. I read on wiki that some time ago underground rappers had beef with the more "mainstream" J-Pop rappers. Are artist like Seamo and Diggy-MO' taking as seriously as guys like NORIKIYO and SIMON? It just seems like when it come to diversity in rap Japan is pretty out there....
