Albert Green was good enough to cover a couple of my shows while I was on vacation this summer. So, I returned the favor by subbing for him during his regular time slot - 7-9am on Sunday. It's a near slot (and I even had a caller), but I've been discombobulated for the rest of the day.
My disorientation aside, the free form nature of the slot let me dig out some reissues that I bought in Chicago as well as let me play around with a couple of themes. I can never really do a theme show; I get an idea for something else and there goes the them. So, this is a old stuff, new stuff, morning rain, female vocalist theme - that ends with Trinadadian jazz.
Though I really like the Nat Reese cut - it's a great comedy song for Sunday mornings. I found a digital version (legit) here.
