Good answer! It's just something that I've been thinking about a bit lately, that certain professions/subjects are seen as having this idealistic aura, while others don't (and the ones that do are the ones with more or less obvious, immediate effects on people/society). But I'm beginning to think that a layer of idealism could be applied to most professions and that that would be a good way to get people (students) interested - which they usually say is needed, at least in Sweden, for the natural sciences in particular these days. But what's needed when attracting people to those subjects is perhaps to speak more of the future and have a longer time frame since the effects aren't as direct and apparent as in certain other professions. More idealism, in short. :P But yeah, just my thoughts... Working in Germany? What's that like? I'm kind of interested in working (or studying) in some other country, but it seems like it could be tough, especially without speaking the language. (1000!!!)

Then all is well! I think it's just one of those covers that - at least for me - is more recognizable/iconic than the actual music (not saying the covers are necessarily _better_ than the music). Like Aeroplane Over the Sea, Court of the Crimson King or that Velvet Underground album. I think I knew all of those covers before even knowing who the artist was. Aaanyway, how's life and stuff? Also: aren't you studying physics or something? Because if so, then my simple question is: why? Not in a condescending way, but pure curiosity since I don't find it interesting at all (except for like astrophysics, since space is cool). Basically what I'm wondering is if people who study that kind of stuff do it because they want to make the world a better place or if they just like numbers. Basically, are they as idealistic as people who study say, politics or medicine.

eh what how? i didnt even know she toured the UK recently :( I only really like pa engliska or w/e its called cos its basically a HS album in disguise. hmmm I've been good. I've missed loads of small gigs recently due to general laziness and unwillingness to brave the cold and public transport. Plus I have no one to go with most of the time, though I manned up and have entered the brave new world of going on my own and playing as much angry birds as i can during the interludes. How's things with you?
