    I know. The same thing happened to me. Turns out that, because I skip to the next song before one finished a lot, the playcounts never got counted in itunes. And I lost a lot of my playcounts when I reinstalled itunes awhile back. itunes is anal and only counts a "play" if you play a song 100%. Once the last.fm plugin is installed into itunes it will scrobble after 50% of a tracks length is played. So you should be cool moving forward. I hope that helps. :)

    You should download this itunes plug-in, if you havent already. http://www.last.fm/download#content_desktop It will scrobble all of your itunes playcounts/artists onto the website automatically.

My stats are all effed in the aye b/c nothing scrobbled for several months unless I was playing it on last.fm... should be WAAAAY more Humble the Poet, Fitz & the Tantrums, Dead Man's Bones... and many more plays on artists that are already frequently played.

i like 80's pop/new wave, filmi, Asian hip-hop, soul, Southern rap, roots reggae, glam, afropunk... amongst others
