Saw The Music Tapes and it was amazing, even though Julian was sick and there wasn't time to play the game and a drunk guy's phone went off while Julian was playing The First Noel in the middle of the crowd with his saw.
That dude is probably one of the nicest musicians I've ever encountered, along with Bradford Cox.

Nana Grizol opened, and they were consistently good and all but there was one song that stuck out. I asked and it isn't officially released yet but it does have a name: Cynicism. It was heart-wrenching, and I don't think I've ever had that sort of reaction to a song I'm hearing for the first time in that sort of setting. So, uh, keep a look out.
(This is a place you can hear it, from the NPR broadcast of the E6 holiday Surprise tour, I think) It doesn't catch it perfectly, but it is at least decent to listen to.
