Fusebox Poet – Pretty OK.

Brother Grey – Immediately a favorite band, Really Good Live!

Bridge To Grace – Really Good.

Pretty Please – Interesting young band. Rats as logos draw me. Grunge Noise.

Dropout – Not my style, but hard core, in your face, good.

Whores. –Really Good Live!

Bionic Cavemen – Good live, hard psychedelic, punk-ish, stoner music.

Plastic Visions – Fantastic performance, could actually understand the words of the songs, even though I never had heard them before. I will be checking these guys…

I got my Red Line Chemistry CD finally. I went around on Tuesday looking for it in real stores. No such luck. Best Buy showed no availability ANYWHERE. Next day either.

That next day I looked on Best Buy to order it. We are Silver status so shipping is free, expedited too.

So I start to order it and before full commit it says that I cannot get it with that shipping option, only "standard" and that gave me a week away for the shortest amount of time before I'd get it … and up to a few more possible…

I had gotten a $70 gift card from my family for Mother's Day at Best Buy. I spent the whole thing, plus $.95 from my real money. Not too bad.

I wanted to get Red Line Chemistry - Tug Of War, but NO ONE is carrying it physically in-store.

Anyhow I am still totally addicted to BEWARE…

I was obsessed with the BEWARE OF DARKNESS song Howl when I first heard it. I didn't hear it until recently when XM Octane played it. Why? I mean, why so long before I ever heard it on Octane?

At any rate, I just howled outloud myself whenever it came on. Of course I have a decent XM player and Song Saved it twice so to have it absolutely on there (songs overwrite oldest, holds 10.)

I saw that the band had played at the Friday night pre-party at Carolina Rebellion, and something about their name rang a bell,…

I'll start with just a list. This isn't exhaustive, only what I can remember off the top of my head. I mostly was a "listen to the radio, go to very little" kind of girl … until recently when I've started making my husband take me to concerts to make up for lost time.

When I was a teenager I did see many more concerts than are listed, but I don't recall exactly every single one. I was limited to what I was allowed to see, and didn't pursue much when I was grown up, then got married and started…

I saw Stone Sour and they were really, really good, of course. Corey Taylor said he was sick but that there was no way he wasn't going to perform. He really pushed it and the crowd loved him. He sounded fantastic. (I'm a singer, no professional nor active at all in many years, but my main point is to say I know what it's like to perform when you are sick, it is possible, a hoarse talking voice to total laryngitis is peculiar. A singer can still sing, and sing well under those conditions, if they want to, usually.)

I finally caved and bought Adelitas Way most recent Home School Valedictorian. I never had any of their albums, but liked what I'd heard.

Unfortunately, lately on Twitter are re-tweeting everyone spouting off about how much they LOVE "Alive" from the album. I listen Sirius/SM Octane, so I know Collapse, Sick, Criticize, that's three good songs, therefore I decided to buy the CD this weekend. (CD on Amazon, Autorip, cool!)
