well people say daydream nation is their best album. i agree that its good, but not the best. my fav would be dirty. or experimental jet set, trash and no star. although its not enough to listen it once. i started to listen them 1.5 years ago after one guy was surprised that i listen alternative rock but dont listen sonic youth ;/ so after i listened all thei discography i was like meh... not bad but boring. and didnt listened them for months, only sometimes if my winamp randomly picked thei songs. but after a while i started to love their songs. now theyre one of my favs although i think theyre making too much noise (1/3 of their music is noise). so anyway u MUST listen to them if u like something unique. theres no other band like them. i agree that radiohead are a little bit pretentious. i think they could make many good "normal" songs but they dont do that specially trying to look different than others. im ok with that. i love all their stuff (older or new). they are true pr0's :)

I'm going through a Marc phase at the moment. Sometimes I feel TFF-y, sometimes Soft Cell, Falco, Nicky Holland... but right now I'm just in love with Marc's music. He's so brilliant. My favourites of his are The Idol, The Sea Says, Love Letter, The Boy Who Came Back, Black Mountain Blues, Pink Shack Blues, The Flesh Is Willing, Contempt, The House Is Haunted, What Makes A Man, Ruby Red, What Is Love... okay let's just say all of his stuff. XP
