    well those other lines fit. the ones in war without hope are hard to explain but the riff plays like three times but the last one is extended a little. kinda hard to explain, as for the other one in mecca it can be sung on rhythm as well though it looks lengthy in writing. most of them are rough draft though, but as for the chorus its pretty much on topic though the last line is a bit iffy. Worthless whores (taking a piss on the people who's beliefs demand so much life), God demands more (youre god wants more death), peace is dead (this line should be obvious), and the last ones a bit iffy as i originally wrote the lyrics on a different topic and just used that same line because i simply didn't have the patience lol but i guess that can be interpreted in some way as us being condemned for disagreement with their system or something, or just back to the whole peace thing dying in general

    yeah they're all seniors, but i mean they have a show in may and everything so i think they shouldn't break up just yet. they're incredibly talented for their age. and charlie and i have been working on lyrics ourselves. we've got all but one of the five songs that are done. give me some feedback and constructive criticism and whatnot. War without hope was charlies lyrics, i wrote the chorus and about two lines on the verse that needed fixing. the Burning of Mecca was my first attempt at lyrics so some areas are rough but its all about islamic hatred and extremism. Heretic is rets lyrics and those are going in the trash as soon as i finish up some new ones. Thrashaholic are my lyrics by request of charlie for a party song so its pretty corny but funny at parts haha.     yeah haha when have you heard ret sing? did charlie post videos? its not just the fact that he's not a great singer for our style but it's mainly the fact that his lyrics suck (if he writes them in the first place), and the fact that he NEVER comes to practice or does anything yet always tries to take charge. he bitches a ton. we figured we had nothing to lose really, everything will run smoother, i will get to do something i've always wanted to do haha, and we will know the sound we're trying to get instead of having someone inspired by lamb of god going in a different direction. also i recommend you copy the Arktide out of dropbox. they're some kids we know at alpharetta high and im pissed cause they're the most epic thing georgia has ever seen and they just broke up

    no problem man, im kind of pissed myself because i think im on spring break that week... but oh well i've still got porcupine tree two weeks after so its all good. im surprised to see sonata arctica on you events..? i thought you hated them haha. and the update sounds awesome! so rumor is i might be the new singer in my band haha

    hahaha yeah this guys pretty funny like michael too but a little bit more serious. we got most of the song recorded today except vocals. the leads are a little sloppy though so im thinking about taking 2 on those
