So., 27. Okt. – Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club

Yes, after beeing in Cuba in February, following the Paths of Cuban Music and having some really great Coctails in some great Bars it happened that the Orquesta Buena Viesta Social Club, feat. Omara Portuondo and Eliades Ochoa would come for their one and only Concert to Switzerland.

Eliades Ochoa had to cancel the Tour, becausse he injured his Hand and so One of the Mainactors was not there. I mean these Guys were great, the best, what the Cuban Musicscene has to offer today, including some Musicians, who participated on the Original Sessions with Ry Cooder and were filmed by Wim Wenders.

Omara Portuondo is a Legend and when she entered the Stage, you could feel the Vibes and the glory Days from the Past.

Finally, a great Concert, where I personally didn´t get what I expected, but still, I was glad to be there!
