Carnalist Started out with only Sonny Mery and Niklas Lindeke in 2005 being members of a unorganised band called H.I.V wich kicked both Niklas and Sonny for playing to heavy music so Niklas and Sonny ended up jamming together and became frinds through Metal and Beer.
Later on they started to play more and more and namned the band Huj Babajaga wich means cock-witch in polish. The music they where playing was kind of thrash/death metal oriented from everything between slayer and Behemoth and we made a couple of songs but never took it to any serious level. Later on in late 2006 Niklas Bruhn joined as a second guitarplayer.
In the beginning there was a big problem with finding a singer wich limited them to only play in the rehersalroom. Sometime in later 2007 Huj Babajaga renamed to Carnalist because we wanted to take the band into a more serious level. Carnalist means a person who has a odd perversion towards flesh, blood and carnage.
Later that very same year, Hampus Olsson joined as the main singer of the band, founded by the contacs of Lindeke. When he joined the band we could finally start play live wich became his audition wich he nailed, and now we are where we are and this text will uppdate as the band updates…
