24 марта выходит моя первая книжка. Роман называется Юбка, издает Ad Marginem. Написал ее осенью в Хорватии, в деревушке Млини за 34 дня. Некоторые моменты добавил уже по приезду, в январе, для этого опять пришлось сбежать - топил печь на даче и ходил по лесу в валенках. Даже борода выросла.
История с романом началась в 2002 году, во время продюсирования альбома Найка Заноза. Работа в студии - как съемка, процесс завораживающий, но часто возникают стихийные паузы. А Найк вообще не из быстрых артистов). Словом, на запись ушло года полтора. И это счастливое время мы проводили больше за разговорами, нежели за генерированием нот. Как-то мы с ним в очередной раз сцепились языками, и тут родилась одна безумная идея. Уж не знаю почему, но в центре этой истории оказалась Лени Рифеншталь (скорее всего потому, что ей стукнуло тогда ровно 100 лет ). Через месяц, а может через полгода, я написал коротенький синопсис - показалось, что это может быть хорошим плацдармом для фильма. …

Олег Нестеров, музыкант и продюсер, глава рекорд-лейбла «Снегири» и группы «Мегаполис» освоил новую профессию - на этот раз литературную Его дебютный роман “Юбка” выходит в издательстве “Ад Маргинем”. Презентация состоится 29 марта в клубе «ИКРА».

Давний поклонник немецкой культуры, Нестеров помещает действие романа в довоенную Германию. Тридцать седьмой год, недавно закончилась Олимпиада и студенческая молодежь свингует в модных берлинских кафе, но по улицам уже маршируют отряды штурмовиков, а молодые архитекторы готовят проект новой столицы Третьего Рейха.

Все это напоминало бы исторический роман, но у ребят из бюро Альберта Шпеера есть одно странное, с точки зрения историка, хобби - они пытаются электрифицировать гитару. Главная героиня романа - молодая и талантливая режиссер Лени Рифеншталь - узнав об опытах молодых людей, рассказывает о них своему хорошему знакомому по имени Адольф. Фюрер немедленно берет их деятельность под личный контроль. Секретный проект получает кодовое название “Юбка”.

Well, if you take a look, even a not very close one, just at the surface so to speak, through users' journals and group discussions etc, you will discover that there seems to be one thing that nearly everyone does, did or surely soon will do: Questionnaires. Any version of a music quiz asking questions like "where did you hear band X for the first time" or "what's your favourite song by artist Y" etc.

I always refused making something like that. On the one hand because it is only to help people to represent their taste as fast as possible, and on the other hand because the questions are just coincidental... "Of course they are", one could say, but nevertheless I would think the whole affair to be more meaningful if I would consider myself, concerning which group or which artist I would like to ask which question...
The other important reason for me not to make it was the fact that my whole profile wasn't really representative for my musical preferences. …

So, not having that much to do, and not wanting to study, I will now start copying all the artists in my iTunes library inte this journal. Of course, this will be a never-ending task, with my library updating och growing almost every day. Any way, I'll start from the top and then just keep on going.

I will include artists I only have one track by, but not tracks with several artist contributing (If it's a "feat." track, I will only mention the main artist).

If you notice that I'm missing out in an artist you believe I would appreciate, please tell me!
