Here's what DJ Bernardo Vieira (de Brazil) said of Con La Clave... "Yesterday I received the album you sent me, and thank you very much! This is a production that appeals not only to dancers but also to admirers of good Cuban music. Yaqueline's voice is wonderful and that voice has Olvido Ruiz! Congratulations to Branko Arnsek for producing the recording ...and certainly we will be playing Con La Clave on the dance floors in Brazil. The tracks I'm most pleased with: No Me Vio La Policia, No Te Quiero Timido!, Ron Caney, El Regreso, Tócame, En El Camino, La Gozadera and Las Niñas. I want to write a note about the disc, advising salseros to listen and buy the album...."

Warning! A truck full of dynamite. Yaqueline Castellanos is known as Cuba's La Dame del Son. One listen and you will hear why. She now lives in Germany, as does her daughter, the singer Olvido, and together they create a very modern dance music experience. Tokame is jammed with top Cuban players like Mario "El Indio" Morejon , Ardile Ruiz and Humberto Zaldivar, Regis Molina and Harvis Padron. These guys mix up a tasty brew that blends modern twists on tradition like son and merengue, as well as with funk and urban pop, rock and jazz. Fifteen tracks of in-your-face Cuban style. Whether it's their explosive salsa tracks like Con La Clave, Gozadera, the killer Ron Caney, or the pumped up merengue like El Niko, or the radio-ready pop tracks like Tocame or El Regreso, ...this one, folks, is a tropical Latin tsunami. There are also elements of funk and urban -- check out Maria Se Fue, one of our favorite tracks. Very Highly Recommended. - elW
