    Just sublime! Piipco's comment down below has got it right. My first listen was on a porch facing the mountains in central Colorado, sunset overhead. Perfect. And ohhhh man, Van's rhythm playing! The punch, the thrilling beauty of that twelve-string and his aggressive playing in the midst of the gentle, full band backing! It's incredible and I can't get enough! And don't even get me started on the organ.

    I don't know the Pink Floyd track that some people have referred to, but suffice to say 'Saint Dominic's Preview' came out in July 1972, whereas the relevant Floyd album was in September 1975. So if there has been any borrowing here, it isn't by Van!

    This is nice, but unfamiliar. I hear the Pink Floyd thing, too, so I guess it's a question of which tune came first. Van the Man's vocal is quite unique, for sure!
