Detroit, USA

Tenebrific is the world's whiniest Twiztid "fan."

@Tenebrific do you not think you are being a little elitist there. what you are saying is that if a band gets rich they stop being good? and that we should start looking t the bottom again for some horrorcore that nobody else has ever heard of and drag them up to the top? twiztid are at the top of the pile because they have worked hard to get there for what 15 years now. taking that away from them because they dont sound like they did in the beginning is ridiculous. and before you start on the merch thing, every artist of any shape or form or size from hip hop and rock through pop and metal all have extensive merch ranges, its not just the guys on psychopathic! cant blame them for playing the same game as everyone else.

And what is a "true fan"? How does one make this determination? There's a clear distinction between making music for what you love, and mass-producing merch and albums as fast as you can humanly pump them out, in order to expand the bottom line. You can tell me they're millionaires who are self made doing what they love, but in truth, they're just losers who exploit the system, and never need to work another day in their lives. Like Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian. It doesn't even matter what they do anymore, all further points are moot, because they've already won. Meanwhile better quality underground hip-hop and horrorcore acts get passed over or snuffed out because all people care about is what is directly on the surface. That's ok though. You're obviously too much of a hardass to even try to understand what I'm saying.

@Tenebrific: If you were a true fan, and you obviously aren't, you wouldn't act like a bitch about them progressing past the House of Krazees era. Saying Twiztid "sold out" because they no longer sound like HoK would be like saying ICP sold out for no longer sounding like JJ Boys. Get a clue. Jamie was 18 when HoK started back in 1993. If you're in your mid 30s and still making the same music you made when you were a teenager, you either have no balls or no creativity whatsoever. Twiztid has both, which is why they haven't made the same album over and over again.

twiztid and their evolution has been great, up till heartbroken, which was just a poor album, it felt half finished and excessively padded out with filler tracks. for me even though the early stuff is awesome i personally prefer w.i.c.k.e.d, and feel its their strongest collection of songs. do i think they sold out, nope, the style has changed, is it the same as the charts? nope. is it the same as mostasteless? nope. but would i like the same album 8 times over? nope

ICP has gotten tamer over the years too. That's why these shoutboxes are dead. When I joined last.fm in 2007, these same shoutboxes were bustling with at least 30 shouts a day. People were actually really disappointed with their new albums. So you can remain a true juggalo for life if you'd like, but eventually you'll realize that they're not making music for the same reasons that they used to.

I think you're confused. There's a difference between gradually changing style over time and completely dropping your style in favor of a more watered down version in order to please mainstream fans. You obviously aren't familiar with House of Krazees or Natas.

Tenebrific, are you still in that angry high school student mentality of thinking any artist that has achieved any degree of commercial success is a sell out? Go troll the Liz Phair page or something. Twiztid has kept it real like a motherfucker since day one. Their sound has EVOLVED over the years. It's called "progress," not selling out.

House of Krazees was underground music. That is the truth. Twiztid never has been and never will be underground. That's just how it is. They had the choice, they chose the money.

Too late. They had the opportunity to stay underground years ago and they chose the notoriety. Now they're making too much money off juggalos, they'll never quit. Not while anyone still listens.
