    I first read about them in a book called 'Angry women in rock' quite a while back. Now I just bought 'Snarkism' and I can't believe I missed out on one of the greatest bands of the nineties: it's excellent! I expected the sound to be more heavy, but the songs are really wacky, and that suits me fine. I'm more of an early eighties kind of music lover and I always considered the nineties less worthy, but not this band. It's a bit late, but I will surely buy more of their stuff.

    Also “Butch in the Streets (Fem in the Sheets)” was a laugh riot, and I also loved “Kick” They were really a fun band. They got a lot of support from straight & gay men and from straight women also, but a lot (not all) of the lesbians that I knew were sort of offended by them. And I could understand that, they could be pretty bloody offensive.
