    Good point juniorvl, in addition, it should be noted many artists recorded "V-Discs", records for use by soldiers at war to keep them in good spirits. In some cases, Last FM uses those recordings, though I can't say for sure which ones.

    Probably the same Dorsey band that made the original RCA recording of Marie in 1937, with Bunny Berigan on trumpet, Bud Freeman on tenor sax, and Jack Leonard on vocal. In the 30's and 40's most popular bands recorded seperate transcriptions for radio air play. Bud Freeman really kicks on this version.

    This doesn't sound like Dorsey. It's a remake by somebody else after his death. Dorsey's tone is much more velvet
