A few days after me posting the last mff mix here, we did another gig, resulting in another funky recording. This time I didn't wait that long, so here it is. The funny thing though, we're dj-ing again this friday. Resulting in a new mix that will also arrive shortly I guess. Maximum Mixage!

The idea is to see how varied your taste is, a score of 9 is extremely unvaried while 160 represents an extremely varied one.

Three Songs Become One - Part 1

New mix
I've started work on my second CD length mix, title yet to be decided, and I'm using the song "Open Your Soul" by atlantic conveyor as a starting point. I've mixed Open Your Soul (Night Train mix) into the Music Box mix, then into the Dom Search mix. What comes out is a ~10 minute version of the song. Just as a side note the Dom Search (half of The Nextmen) mix is from the Nextmen's Friends and Family mix album. Unfortunately the tagging for Atlantic Conveyor's work is a bit sketchy at the moment. I shall have to hop over to MusicBrainz and correct that. Give The Nextmen the reward they deserve and buy their most excellent mix album Not the Nextmen. Look here and here for info about the vinyl these tracks came from.

For those who are interested, the songs were ripped from vinyl into VBR MP3s, with me recording my mix in Virtual DJ into 16bit 44.1kHz PCM WAVs. …
