The John Butler Trio är ett australiensiskt band bestående av John Butler, Nicky Bomba och Bryon Luiters (tidigare medlemmar Shannon Birchall och Michael Barker). Bandet brukar oftast klassas inom genren alternativ rock men de har flera gånger experimenterat med funk, roots och bluegrass. Trion har släppt fem studioalbum, tre live-album och två EP.
