    Eh, I've just found out they're going to playing their last gig tomorrow before disbanding. It's definitely an underrated band - there was so much potential coming from their debut. All the best to their future endeavours!

    Ditto @ Acquiescence. It's rare gems like this that satisfy my music-hungry soul. Reminds me of a cross between Broken Social Scene and The Appleseed Cast, but with their own, unique sound of course.

    Its discovering awesome, unknown bands like this that makes music so satisfying in general. 'Killing Off Our Friends' is a global hit in another dimension, I just know.

    love this band. @charlantric is right on, regarding Floodlights. i don't think anyone could have described it better.

    This is already quite high-level production. It's quite good music, but I can't help but feel it's a little too safe. Especially on a track like Floodlights, I feel they could have taken listeners to the cleaners by working a little bit more around the melody. It ends almost as soon as it gets really good.

    Fantasic Album, I disagree with the last post, I do not think The Coast sounds at all like The Killers. This is a well rounded album, I would love to hear more from these guys in the future (maybe even some major studio sessions or some other high level production). Until then, I will keep requesting air time for them on our local radio stations.
