Rarely do Sonic Youth have songs where the melody is the star. Usually it's the guitars, or the drums. But here, CLEARLY, the melody is the best part of the song. The five note sequence "T-V An-Ten-Na" is beautiful... absolutely.

This is pretty much the only song I like on "The Eternal". Indie rock is trendy again, so Sonic Youth changed their sound to appeal to a mass audience... just like they did in the early 90s. :(
