    Yeah, for a long time this was my least favorite S-K album (well, next to the s/t), but I've been really diggin' it lately. I still can't really get into some tracks - lookin' at you, "Prisstina" - but overall it's pretty solid. "Far Away" & "Sympathy" really hit me emotionally, and "Step Aside" is easily one of my favorite Sleater-Kinney songs.

    I didn't care that much for this album when I first heard it, but now I love it. I think nearly all the tracks are fantastic. This is probably one of my top SK albums.

    Bad flow? Am I missing something? This gets better and better with each listen :S The Woods seems to have at times something that irritates me (but I guess that has to do more with the production/mixing of the album than anything)

    Couldn't agree more licoricepizza, great songs but it has not got much a flow (then again most of their albums don't, apart from The Woods), and the artwork is terrible/doesn't fit the sound at all.

    I think it's their worst album. Dig me out, Hot Rock and All Hands... are muuuuch better than this. I was kind of let down when I first listened to it.

    About the only two negative things I can say are: (1) the order of the tracks seems rather haphazard. It's got a pretty bad flow (compared to some of their other albums) and (2) I don't like the cover artwork (kind of hate it, to be honest). I easily remedy both problems by (1) just relying on "shuffle" when I play it and (2) turning over the little booklet in the cd to display that great photo of the band. :)
