    Yeah the bits like the big midi horn part and the dissonance don't really "work" in a conventional sense, but that's what makes the compositions so interesting, the pondering of what possessed Spruance to throw those notes in there in the first place.

    I appreciate the use of dissonance in the beginning, mainly because it doesn't really find structure in itself but shifts to another theme altogether. It's worth it to listen through the beginning, and I must admit it is the work of Mr. Spruance that without it the song would not sound the same.
