It's strange to call Roger's songs "prophetic", as throughout the years he was describing characteristics, tendencies or possibilities of society researched and documented innumerable times. "Amused to Death" itself is inspired by "Amusing Ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman. ...Which doesn't take away the value of expressing particular ideas artistically, causing emotional resonance and raising awareness... to some extent. This album and this song accomplish this relative 'task' and go beyond only that.

Saw "The Wall" back in October in St. Louis...the best show I've ever seen. Roger, at 67, puts other performers to shame. And yes, regrettably, I believe Roger is a prophet in regards to what this world will/has become unless each one of uses our voices.
