SuperbeastTue 7 Jun – Rob Zombie, Mignon Am Anfang gab es einen kleinen Aussetzer - aus irgend einem Grund sind die Musiker wieder von der Bühne verschwunden bevor Mr. Zombie himself mit dazu kam. Dann gab es alle Hits in knapp anderthalb Stunden incl. Dragula, Superbeast, Demonid Phenomenon, American Witch, Jesus Frankenstein und als Zugabe erstaunlicherweise Werewolf women of the SS. Auch von White Zombie wurde was gespielt. Rob Zombie erzählte sein letzter Berliner Gig sei ungefähr zu der Zeit des Mauerfalls gewesen (Ich bin froh das er nicht erzählte er habe diesen mit verursacht ;o) da es einige Künstler gibt die sich in der Richtung deutlich überschätzen...) Die Kostüme waren klasse und krass. Im Publikum ging es weiter vorne gut ab. Selten so viel a. tätowierte und b. langhaarige Typen auf einem Konz gesehen :o) Um mich rum standen welche die ernsthaft Luftgitarre gespielt haben! Ich fand die Spieldauer ein bisschen kurz - nach einer Stunde war das Hauptset vorbei und für die 3 Zugaben ließen…

Let's say I re-discovered Rob Zombie recently, it's been quite some time since I listened to his music for the last time.

バックドロップは、赤に白字でDEAD BY APRILのバンドロゴ。
会場をみると女の子が山のように居る。開演前からキャーキャーと黄色い歓声が湧く。
ボーカルのJimmie Strimellだと思うが、黒い耳穴イヤリングでタトゥーがたくさん。ランニングのような黒い綿シャツを着ている。上手のギターは半そで黒Tシャツで左胸にちっちゃい白いガイコツ。まあまあステージ上を移動している。
ボーカル(か!?)は、下手で台の上に乗って歌ったりする。クリーンボイスは、黒人かアラブ系の入った人で短髪の髪がサムライみたいに剃っているのか特徴がある。一曲目からスクリーモが入る。デス声もあったりする。
ドラムはTAMA。
ステージ上で4人そろってのゆっくりしたヘドバンもなかなか身ことです。皆上下黒で揃えているせいか、短髪でも結構見ごたえがあります。
下手にカワイイ子か、乗りのいい観客が集まっているのだろうか、盛んに下手に行ってプレイしたり歌うメンバー達。サークルピットやモッシュもありました。
最後に、ピックや汗ふいた白いタオルなどを会場に投げ入れておりました。

クリマンのご招待に当たり、行ってまいりました。
仕事終わりと同時にダッシュして駅に、何とか7時ぎりぎりに会場に着く。
会場に入ると、そこそこの入り。ラウドパークで見られる方が多いのでしょうね。しかし、みなさんRob Zombie目当てで、Ｔシャツも普通のメタル系黒Ｔのほかに、ロブゾンビ着てる方が結構おられます。年齢も、若い方も沢山いらっしゃいます。
後ろの少し高くなった階段の上に行くと、人の隙間から結構ステージが見えます。
7時ちょうど位に暗転、ステージ上には、奥の両端にガイコツのバックドロップその真ん中に少し高くなった台の上にドラムがセットされています。ドラムのTommy Clufetosは叩く拍子に左手を高く揚げたりしてちょっと大げさな動作をわざとしているんでしょうか。大きな振りが人目を引きます。
ドラムセットの上には大きめのスクリーン。
ステージ前には小さめのスクリーンが3つ置かれ、それぞれの後ろがちょっとした台になっています。メンバーが上を移動したり乗ったり座ったり足かけて歌ったり演奏したりします。スクリーンには、ホラームービーや、女性の上半身裸の姿、アニメ、昔のガイコツがでてくるギリシャ・ローマ神話をモチーフにしたハリウッド映画などが映し出されます。
メンバーの位置は、下手にベースのPiggy D.、中央にRob Zomnbie、上手にギターのJohn 5です。ただ、お互いにステージ上を頻繁にあちこち動き回ってくれます。みなスタイルもいいし、ファッションもおしゃれで1センスがいいですね、流石映像のプロ。ステージングがなんとも見せます。
