Fabio is the voice, but that is all. He does not write anything.. and I personally feel Luca's Rhapsody has more of what made Rhapsody. It is a shame and I do love Rhapsody (of fire).. Just not a fan of Tom Hess and his techniques, $$$. I don't know what it says that Nuclear Blast have dropped ROF and not LT Rhapsody.. ?! Not that bands need labels but it surely says something..

Boy I'm SO glad to hear that Nuclear Blast finally dropped Hessody! It's about time this joke came to an end. Let's fully support Luca's new project, and fuck Tom Hess who, by the way, can shove his overpriced ""Vip tickets"" up where the sun don't shine. Capitalist pigs DeMaio and Hess ruined a great band, but Luca's upcoming album sounds promising, regardless of the tentacle hilarity. Don't get fooled by Hessody, (Luca Turilli's) Rhapsody lives on!

To be fair to them Power Metal is sadly not very big in the UK and it is somewhat rare for bands of that genre (apart from DragonForce) to tour the UK. So from their POV why tour the UK when they can sell out bigger venues in Europe/South America? Even Kamelot only tend to do London shows. I hope they do come to the UK for a proper tour in the "not so distant future". They do have a considerable following here, one that would surely grow if they did do some tours here.

Hmm ... that sounds tragic. I do worry about the future of Rhapsody. Especially since they have yet to do a proper UK tour. Rhapsody are just too awesome to fade away or explode ... probably the latter, given their sound.

Rhapsody of Fire are so damn awesome, but I so wish they would do a proper UK indoor gig. A show that I simply must see sometime very soon that will do their awesome music justice! I would have a smile on my face for weeks if the mighty Christopher Lee were to make an appearance on stage as a Narrator! : D

Last.fm is so crap these days. There is no need to separate 'Rhapsody' and 'Rhapsody of Fire', it's just pointless because it's the same band! Yet when I go on certain pages it says 'There are 4 bands with the name X' which is equally as annoying. Stop using band names as a unique identifier, poor database management.

I also think it should be remerged. This is the name the band uses currently so that should take precedence over the old one. Like when setlist fm says Rhapsody of Fire are covering Rhapsody! I mean, seriously? They are the same band. Plus it's depriving the band of scrobbles and makes them look unpopular. They should have like 17 million+ scrobbles not 4 million.

Valley Of The Damned has been released under both names, so it can go both ways. In Rhapsody's case, Symphony Of Enchanted Land's II - The Dark Secret as well... I believe.

People, please... the albums they released under the name "Rhapsody", ought stay that way. As well as those released under the name "Rhapsody of Fire". Keep in mind there's also A DIFFERENT band called "Rhapsody", hence the name change. So... no merging, no rediriction, NO NOTHING.
