Biografi

I really want Enter Rain live... I'm so incredibly jealous of people who got to see that. Also The Deeper Cut and Sisters.

Agreed. Anyone have any clues as to how long it'll be for a new album?

They MUST play Gone live at least once. In a fancy ass good quality dvd.

@nnmore - I agree with the crowd reaction, I was extremely confused. I'd chalk it up to several things though: lights came on immediately, which was terribly disorienting and did indeed seem to finalize the show; it was 1:30am and with 3 opening bands was a pretty lengthy show, so tiredness (but as a big enough PoS fan this shouldn't matter of course!); with Daniel's illness I was rationalizing it all by thinking to myself "There's no need for an encore, the man needs rest!". Lol, I'm glad Clay came back out to snap us out of our delusions!

The bastardization of the spelling of Árstíðir is making my eyes bleed.

@r0ryb0ryalis to be fair, the crowd didn't exactly respond with enthusiasm when the band left before their encores, but you are correct that they shouldn't have turned the lights on and cut their power. The band were fucking amazing though, even if Daniel was sick! Hopefully they can return again soon.

Venue in Chicago tried to kick PoS and us out before their encores, cutting the sound to most instruments and turning the lights on. Of course the band responded with a big "NO WAY!" ;) No mic, no problem. Bass and drums were all they needed, the crowd did the rest!

We love you, Daniel. And seeing you performing while sick as fuck only strengthened the bond. You're the shit as they say in... http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLo4MMEOy25jfb9mi7TCxrav5GT1pF1sIt

Actually I found the set to be very surprising, there were few songs I had actually expected. There were many older songs, sure, but lots of those haven't been played for ages or I wouldn't really expect (King of Loss?). I found the balance of older/newer to be just fine. And totally agreed on the atmosphere and Arstidir.

Was a bit disappointed with the acoustic show. Too few surprises, too many old songs (not that I don't like their old stuff, but I really hoped they were going to mainly do lovely acoustics renditions of Scarsick/Road Salt material). The atmosphere was great though. Very "homely". Oh, and Astidir were exceptional. What a band.

Hey fellow PoS listeners, my instrumental progressive rock band Ysma has just released their first album, Vagrant. It's fully streamable and two songs can be downloaded for free. Feel free to check it out and post what you think! :)

Fortunately not (sorry, but I really _hate_ the 12:5 version, even though the whole 12:5 is great), it was just much more minimalistic and melancholic than the original. Absolutely beautiful imo.

Did they do Ashes like the 12:5 version? 'Cause damn is that sexy.

Stress was quite funny, but nothing cracked me up more than the Holy Diver cover. :D Also, I absolutely loved the acoustic versions of Mrs Modern Mother Mary and Ashes, both were quite dramatically different from the originals, and still perfectly captured the mood and feel of the songs. (I'm not mentioning e.g. Chain Sling and 1979, because they were fairly close to the album versions - but then they were wonderful anyway)

The U.S. tour is approaching quickly and they still haven't announced any West coast dates... anyone else been checking their site daily? :D

Does anybody know if there's something somewhere out there that looks like a tracklist of the upcoming 'clean' album?
