"But Ryan!" You may ask. "Why are you posting this at nearly a quarter to nine on January 31st?"
That's because I am a notorious procrastinator, and a bit of a ditherer.
"Also, isn't it considered bad form to post one of these long past the point where people might have cared, i.e. the beginning of the month?"
Well, yes.

1. How did you get into 29? (Marilyn Manson)
It was through Goldfrapp that I got interested. They originally remixed his song "
This is the New Shit" and after hearing that, I was very interested in hearing the original. So I did, and then I listened to more and more and I liked it.
2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22? (Bjork)
"
Army Of Me"
3. What's your favorite lyric by 33? (Blondie)
I don't have any of the lyrics memorized, so I can't really say.
4. How did you get into 49? (The Pretenders)
I was on a road trip with my family and the song "Middle Of The Road" played and I really got into them after that.
5. How many albums by 13 do you own? (Beck)
7
6. What is your favorite song by 50? (The Beatles)
"All You Need Is Love"
7. Is there a song by 39 that makes you sad? (Kelly Clarkson)
I don't think so. Most of her songs are pretty optimistic.

2. Fleetwood Mac
3. Kylie Minogue
4. Nightwish
5. Alanis Morissette
6. Goldfrapp
7. Maria Bamford

10. Liz Phair
How many times have you listened to number one (Tori Amos)?
1,213 times and then some
Is this your favorite band?
Yes and no. I don't have a favorite technically. But if favorite means the one that I listen to the most, then yes.
What got you into number one?
She was actually a risk that I took. I was in a CD store that was about to close down so everything was on sale. I saw the album "American Doll Posse" which was brand new at the time and it was marked down. So I purchased it and I was blown away by her sound. Ever since then, I haven't really stopped listening to her.
Why have you listened to that so much?
Because I enjoyed her music that much.
Favorite song(s)?
Almost Rosey, Caught a Lite Sneeze, Purple People,
New Age, etc.
Something you think you’d thoroughly enjoy doing with the band?

Thirty Questions 'Bout Ma 30 Top Bands!!!
1. How did you get into 29?
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti: Well hey, I actually remember this pretty well! It was back at the beginning of last november, and I was looking at Eric Fensler's website to the video for Politely Declined that he made. I immediately fell in love with the video and the song. It's still definitely my fave Ariel Pink song.
2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22?
Krisiun: Wow, I totally know this too! It was
Ominous cuz it was on a Century Media Sample I got with Napalm Death's Code is Red. Though it honestly wasn't until I heard them play it live that I really fuckin loved em.
3. How many albums by 13 do you own?
Kraftwerk Shit, I don't really know. A lotta their stuff my friends ripped for me and stuff, but I did by a few live shows and early stuff from Malcolm, the vendor who comes to Bard every so often. I dunno how many really, maybe ten... maybe less.
4. What is your favorite song by 15?
