I’m with the majority on this one – the Jon Brion-produced leaked byproduct was the superior record. Still, it’s very much worth a spin, because the woman simply does not know the meaning of bad music.
Highlight Track: “Waltz (Better Than Fine)”
Enjoyable, if only as a lesser sister record to Odelay! style-wise. Definitely not quite as great as everyone thinks. Where the album missteps occasionally in sound, it's almost made up for the fact that Mr. Hanson's craft as a songwriter is still very much intact.
