A magnificent Indonesian born artist who now resides in France. First heard of her in her English singles, Snow on the Sahara and A Rose in the Wind, then later, their Indonesian versions, and after a few years heard her french singles Cesse la pluie and others. I became a fan of hers after listening to her french songs. they are upbeat, and more dance/electronic elements compared to her previous songs. her latest album, Elévation is a great one as well! Currently trying to find her older albums.

An Italian woman who sings Italian, spanish, portuguese, english and some french. Truely talented! She is one of the few pop singers who make really good and bored proof music. From time to time i can still dig out her songs from the 90's to listen but still have a fresh feel to them.

My favourite american idol contestant! Chris Daughtry formed the band Daughtry after "loosing" the idol contest. His rock songs sounds fresh to the ears after listening to one after another pop or country singer from the other Idol winners.

This singer from Madrid is my favourite Spanish female singer. She has currently released 3 albums, Edurne, Ilusión and Première. The first 2 albums are great, with many nice and catchy songs. Ilusión is a cover album, so i'm not such a fan of it. She will be releasing a new album next year. Can't wait for it!

This french DJ is definitely my favourite. His remixes made irritating songs sound much better and his collaborations with other vocalists has created masterpieces. Some other DJs tend to make somewhat boring or irritating beats, but every track by Guetta are original and refreshing.

Too bad this Mexican band has disbanded this year. They make some great music although sometimes their vocals are a little off. RBD, along with Kudai are my favourite bands from the Latin world. However, i think they do not deserve to be at No. 2. They are because of their "discovery" by me this year.

The Spanish version of Italian singer Nek's Un'altra direzione. This album contains nice and non boring pop songs which are hard to come by, and also very addictive.

Najoua Belyzel – Au Féminin



The long awaited album by French singer, Najoua Belyzel, just released late this year although some singles were released since 2007.

Her music style of pop/rock/electronic is a very nice combination. Even though the released singles were just average, there are other very nice songs on the album. A good album overall. Since it is released late this year, we might see this in next years charts again!

Album released on November 2008 by Canadian electronica diva Mylène Farmer but still addictive as ever! She is my favourite french language singer i've ever heard so far, all her songs since the 80's are still good and future proof!

All the released singles from this album, Dégénération, Appelle Mon Numéro, C'Est Dans L'Air, Sextonik are awesome!! While Si J'Avais Au Moins... is only average.

Shy'm – Reflets



Album released in 2008 by french singer Shy'm. Her style of R&B/Pop is smooth with great beats.

Favourite single gotta be La première fois.

LaFee – Ring Frei



LaFee's 4th studio album, released in January 2009. Well, this is what rock songs are supposed to sound like! But i prefer her singing in German rather than English.

2005 album by now disbanded Mexican band RBD. This got up here due to their "discovery" earlier this year. Although their vocals (some of them) are not really that good but their songs are very catchy.

Enhanced/live version of Premonición, released in 2007 which i think is this Spanish singer's best album so far. Songs like Quien Me Iba A Decir, Silencio, Soldado De Papel and Premonición are songs that just got stuck into my head


Edurne – Edurne

Her first album back in 2006. Edurne got to be my favourite Spanish female singer. Love the beats of her songs, will get hooked up to it.

Chilean band Kudai's latest album, released in 2008. Very nice and addictive pop rock songs in there. but, i prefer their older album Sobrevive

2nd album of the band Daughtry, led by American idol participant, chris daughtry. I think Daughtry must be my favourite artist to ever emerge from American idol since he (they) are different than the other pop/country singers. Their songs comes close to other "big" pop rock bands like Nickelback

Originally intended to be included as a re-release of The Fame, it is now released as a mini album instead. As what is mentioned for The Fame, this album is just awesome!! If i were to categorize both of them as the same album, they could have reached the top of this chart! i've still not gotten enough of Bad Romance, and now, Telephone featuring Beyoncé will be released. Wow!!

The band i grew up listening to released this album in September. Some say it is their best album since Millennium. Overall i think it was average, but the single Straight Through My Heart is just so so so super addictive, and it is the reason why this album received to much playcount and reached No. 4

My father listened to a lot songs of them and brought me a t-shirt from "the open door", so I start listening them. :D

I can't remember so well, but I think it was Symphonie. A friend of mine sang it many times in the public swimming pool. Nice old time. *.*

I don't have a favorit album, just some songs i really like, like "can't repeat" and "pretty fly".

3, Under my skin, let go & best damn thing. It's too bad that she changed her image so much, I like the old avril a lot more than the new... =/

I can't remember a single song of them.....

Maybe wire to wire.. but to tell the truth it doesn't make sad.. but it is the most sad song from razor light I know.

I think it is "Felsen im Meer" but I like the most songs from the first album.

Die Perfektion. It just makes me happy. :D :D :D

"Love the people" but Clueso makes my always happy, i've got soo great memories with clueso. I just think of a Baltic Sea trip with some friends. Or I remember me lying on the floor in school with a friend of mine and listening "Pizzaschachteln" the whole break. Great times. :D
