HORSE the Band is a Nintendocore / metalcore band from Lake Forest, California that formed in 1999. They are known for their 8-bit Nintendo influenced sound, which frontman Nathan Winneke calls nintendocore. They are currently signed to Vagrant Records.

HORSE the Band’s lyrics are chaotic and colorful metaphors for vocalist Nathan Winneke’s life, often with humorous or abstract pop culture reference titles and bases. Winneke has referred to his style on multiple occasions as ”lynchian” in reference to his favorite film director David Lynch and his obtuse narrative style

    the best part of Earth Tour was in the beginning of Part 6, the show in Poland where Nathan was playing with a broken shoulder. The way he finished Lord Gold Throneroom in the most anguish ridden way ive ever seen. Then Gary used the end of Mr. Bungles song 'The Bends' as he further unraveled, Erik laughing in his face. It was a great scene.

    I think The General is amazing, but he was definitely the most vulnerable person on Earth Tour. It really showed his insecurities, an awesome character piece. For the record, I also think the current rhythm section is very tight and inventive. BTW if Lucky_Lungz posts The Most Stoked here people will think you're trolling. Better put Knuckles the Echidna on the cover.
