one of my dad's good friend lost his son to cancer. he went to lalapalooza and heard Foo Fighters play through the rain even though they didnt have to. when the sound went out and all the people sang, he said that his hero was his son. and his son spoke to him from heaven when he witnessed all this. thank you Foo Fighters.

I respect the foo fighters. I don't listen to them on a daily basis, but I respect them. I'm a prog guy - Pink floyd, king crimson, tool, dream theater, etc. Its strange, but when a very dear friend of mine passed away it was this song that I turned to. The song of the hero without super powers but whose heart is strong. This is why I love this song. It represents the people like my friend who do not ask for anything in return. I'm very glad that this song was written for those people. I'll always remember my hero.
