    ”It's all been done...” How utterly depressing. If there were any validity to that, there would be no point in anticipating new releases ever again. Music would cease to be a living artform and would be nothing more than a collection of museum pieces dispassionately maintained as a passing curiosity. No, there are too many examples in other genres of music of artists coming along and breathing new life into a stagnant genre. It can happen in industrial. I really hope it does, because what lines the shelves at Hot Topic has more in common with modern country than industrial music.

    A lot of people making "industrial" music these days just due to it impress other people or fit into a certain mold, adopting a certain aesthetic in hopes someone pays attention to their existence. As I see it, it's more about them imitating each other musically to fit into a certain social scene more than artistry.
