hypnotic, mesmerising,intoxicating.....sandy's signature tune. No one else could sing this like she did. Fairport's finest hour.

Outstanding vocals from Sandy and so much going on behind her. Early Fairport were true musical leaders. Fantastic.

When you look up the word mesmerizing in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Sandy Denny.

Utterly captivating! Sandy's voice tears at your heart, and the bass/guitar/fiddle/drum combo is perfection. The live atmosphere really comes through. Anyone know where this version is from and if it can be bought?

how strange-this is not the version(from the meet on the ledge or unhalfbricking cd's) or the version that i have heard previously on lastfm. interesting though-live, i believe. nice, but not from the indicated cd's.

brilliant song! just listen to this great bassline! That version should also be on the album "unhalfbricking", but here on last.fm they put a live-version of it there.
