Yes, I'm still on something of a retro tip. After seeing a depressing "top selling dance songs of the noughties" list, I began thinking back to the stuff I loved in the nineties. I was, to be fair, heavily into big beat and drum and bass in my uni days, so this list might well be heavily skewed. But needless to say, there was far too much to squeeze into just ten songs, so this has spiralled into rather more than that. But, it all deserved mentioning, and as always, there are playlists to listen to them on.

Anyway, the way I'm going to do this is to split tracks into their respective genres, or at least as close as I can get to them. So, lets make the beats very big indeed to start with. Z góry pragnę uprzedzić wszystkich, że nie byłam ani w czwartek, ani w piątek na koncertach. Przyjechałam do Bydgoszczy z emigracji dopiero w sobotę po południu, nie sprawdzałam, co piszą w gazetach, co mówią znajomi. Nie mam więc w ogóle porównania.

Po pierwsze, Pogodno.
Właściwie to mi się nie podobało. Nie to, że nie lubię zespołu, właściwie mam stosunek neutralny, bo nie znam twórczości poza jakimiś wyjątkami. Nie spodziewałam się niczego szczególnego - i nie zostałam zaskoczona w żadną stronę, a to już niedobrze. Może to dlatego, że grali zupełnie na samym początku, jeszcze było względnie jasno i ciepło, może dlatego, że wcale nie byli największymi gwiazdami wieczoru ... Nie mam pojęcia.

Po drugie, Habakuk.
Byłam już raz na ich juwenaliowym koncercie, w 2008. I tegoroczny bardziej mi się spodobał. Wprawdzie głos Brody pozostawiał wiele do życzenia, ale każdemu zdarza się zachrypnąć. Były piosenki i z A Ty Siej, i z 4life…
