What a nice show yesterday night in Paris ! 3 brutal deathcore bands : Carnifex, Ite Missa Est and Deep In Hate played at Le Batofar, let me talk about those amazing guys I had the pleasure to listen to.


First of all : Ite Missa Est. A brand new deathcore band from France which mix both brutal and melodic elements, such as fast and technical riffs and heavy breakdowns along with technical drumming; this is why they're often compared to All Shall Perish, I'd also compare their work to what I've heard in the first few albums of The Black Dahlia Murder. The quintet looked very talented on scene and offered a great show, seems a shame moshers weren't hot enough to give the band what they really deserved. Their Demo can be downloaded for free, go for it, those guys rock as hell ;)

Then came Deep In Hate, surely one of the heaviest sound I had the pleasure to appreciate live ! Another french band to play that night; in a more brutal way…
