Sure it's more upbeat in MVB but it's still sad. Fast or slow tempo, it's still the same ol' Conor that we all love. Just check out Cape Canaveral, or Eagle on a Pole...o wait, just put it on shuffle and I guarantee you that the sad twang will be present in all the songs. The only exception to this is Air Mattress, where some gutsy mystic dude decided to do vocals (lmao)..but I like that song nonetheless.
