it is tagged as power vocal for the keyboard use and vocal. both are progressive but people just dont have time to bother with genres, rather pretend they know everything. i dont care, just tags.

'Progressive thrash metal' is a relatively narrow term to use, but it's not the most accurate. There are indeed power metal influences, as minor as they may be in comparison to the thrash and progressive influences.

I hate when people say they are a copy of Nevermore. I love both bands, and the only similarities i can see are the occasional collusion of style with Nevermore's Dreaming Neon Black album, and even less frequent similarities in vocals. They are similar in that both bands play a clean-vocals style of progressive/power metal. All the bands in this genre are similar to some extent with intricate song structures, long songs, powerful vocals etc. I don't get the whole "COPYCATS!!" bullshit. Just listen to both bands!

The singer definitely reminds me of Warrel Dane from Nevermore.. I don't think that makes this band a 'copy' in anyway. Sometimes singers just sound alike. And so far, this band sounds great!
